Top Military Leaders Converge on Adirondack Airport
According to the online edition of the Adirondack Daily Enterprise, high-level military leaders have converged suddenly at Adirondack Regional Airport in Lake Clear. They arrived Friday and their planes have been guarded around the clock by the military:
Among the passengers of a large Boeing 757 airplane with "United States of America" printed on its fuselage were top members of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff and their counterparts from France, Germany and another country, possibly Great Britain, according to Barry DeFuria, a town of Harrietstown councilman and Airport Committee member who was there when the plane landed. A top military delegation from Italy flew in on a separate Falcon airplane, DeFuria said. One commenter on the story had this to say:
I had a wild crazy daydream, that Bush will finally play his trump card and pull Bin Laden off that plane parked here in Lake Clear. Maybe a week before the election to save the McCain campaign, once all the Iraq and Afghan coalition brass are assembled for the photo op.Why are they here in the Adirondacks? An all expenses paid - by our tax dollars - hunting junket? An October surprise?
What's your theory?

Consider these very recent items:
1. Obama and McCain were just called into high level briefings by the Bush Administration to update them on a very credible threat of attack after the election.
2. Joe Biden can't help himself and announced in a stump speech that he guarantees that Obama will be tested by an international crisis, he will make "unpopular" decisions which will "appear wrong", and he will need the support of the American people.
3. Top military leaders converge on the Adirondacks for "a meeting".
Very interesting.
Yeah, I don't get it. I'm sure it's not, as some have suggested, the October surprise of bin Laden himself - mainly because the current administration apparently doesn't care to bring him in, and probably never did. Remember all his relatives they flew out of the country after 9-11?
I think the "planned attack" rumor is just another black ops attempt to influence the election that is not going their way - it's the same thing they've apparently pulled a number of times before now.
I tend to think that it's a taxpayer paid hunting trip or some other nonsense junket. If it was something more serious they would hardly be using a small indefensible airstrip in the Adirondacks. If it had to do with Fort Drum, they would have landed at Drum.
If it was something more sinister, they wouldn't be doing it in plain sight - especially with all those secret bases we're operating around the world.
Citizens deserve to know what is going on with their government in a case like this. I encourage any locals with info to comment here.
There is a SPLINTER of truth to the rumor that top military officials from key NATO countries were talking specific plans to craft a BULLET to stop a multi-front attack from Al-Qaeda terrorists.
You guys and the al qaeda thing. Its such a joke, that I laugh at your level of critical thinking. Do you really think it would be difficult to squash out an organization like al qaeda?? Listen, if they can track down tax evaders and other criminals that hide in caves, they could stop this al qaeda thing. But of course, the al qaeda is surely for your entertainment.
enjoy the bullsh@t while you can, reality will be here soon. And then you'll be sitting around in your circle jerks saying, "what ever happen to that al qaea".
