Adirondack Elements Inspire Rebecca Kelly Ballet

For over 30 years The New York City based Rebecca Kelly Ballet has made the Adirondacks its summer home, blending contemporary and classical dance with social and environmental commentary. In an ongoing series of works inspired by the environment, Rebecca Kelly Ballet is bringing parts of the Adirondack Elemental suite to the Lake Placid Center for the Arts for one show only.

9 Local Performances Of The Nutcracker Ballet

photo-16Throughout the Adirondacks and beyond, one holiday tradition that our family and many others look forward to each year is “The Nutcracker” ballet. This family-friendly ballet signals the holiday season with its period costumes, magic and adventure and this year there are several opportunities to see “The Nutcracker”  in the Adirondack region.
