Taste of Home Cooking School in Old Forge

The Taste of Home Cooking School show, supported by the Arts Center/Old Forge, will be presented live at the North Street Recreation Center in Old Forge, NY on Saturday, May 14; doors open at noon, show begins at 3pm.

General Admission Tickets are $15 and may be purchased in person from the Arts Center/Old Forge and DiOrio’s Supermarket and online at New this year,

During the interactive two-hour event, participants will watch top culinary
expert, Chef Michael Barna, Culinary Specialist Northeast Region, demonstrate ten new recipes you can easily recreate in your home.

Along with new recipe ideas, attendee will receive a gift bag that includes an assortment of products and coupons, including two Taste of Home magazines. Over 20 vendors will be on hand with chances to win door prizes. Lunch and snacks will be available for purchase from the Town of Webb School Key Club and Northwoods Women’s Club.

Local sponsors for this year’s event are The Weekly Adirondack, DiOrio’s Supermarket, Morehouse Appliances LLC, Middle Branch Woodworking, and Cooper Kia. National sponsors are Gallo Family Vineyards, Heinz Classico, Minute Rice, Mushroom Council, and Philadelphia Cream Cheese.
