Adirondack History Museum Car Show June 13th

car show 1Car enthusiasts will be on hand displaying muscle cars, vintage roadsters, hot rods and more at the Adirondack History Museum’s 4th Annual Antique and Classic Car Show on Saturday, June 13th from 10 am to 3 pm. These vintage cars will be exhibited on the museum grounds behind the pavilion off Hand Avenue in Elizabethtown. Admission is free.

DaCy Meadow Farm will be on hand offering a farm fresh picnic and barbecue. Ice cream, beer and wine will also be available. Gas cards valued at $500, $250, and $100 will be raffled, with tickets available both before and during the event. The drawing takes place at 2 pm.

Pre-registration for vehicle owners is currently underway. The exhibit fee registration is $10 in advance or $15 the day of the event. Car owners are asked to register with the Adirondack History Museum at or (518) 873-6466.

The day also features free admission to the museum, highlighting the opening of the seasonal exhibit “Essex County’s Immigrants: Names, Places, and Stories”. Drawing on the ancestry of present-day Essex County residents, the exhibit uses individual stories to explore the broad immigration patterns that changed Essex County in the mid-1800s.

The Adirondack History Museum is open daily from 10 am to 5 pm through Columbus Day. Admission is $5 for adults, $4 for seniors, and $2 for students.
