New Mountain Bike Flow Trail Opening At Whiteface

Picture 1 (True Blue)The Whiteface Mountain Bike Park in Wilmington opens on June 4th with a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony of the new Flow Trail, True Blue, at noon. Phase one of True Blue starts at the current Wilmington Mountain Bike Shuttle drop-off location, near the top of Fox Trail. High Peaks Cyclery will be bringing their entire fleet of Salsa Fat Bikes for free demos.

Throughout the season work is expected to continue on phase two, which tops out at the Facelift, and is expected to be completed by the end of the season.

What is a Flow Trail?

Flow Trails are flowy, purpose-built courses for mountain bikers of any skill level. They’re also built to accommodate any type of mountain bike, no matter if the cyclist is a beginner, or an expert. These trails are especially popular with All Mountain/Enduro riders.

A season pass sale begins on April 1 and ends on April 30, 2016. Prices are $299 for single riders and $599 for families up to four. Expert pass holders can start their day a half hour early, every day at 9:30 am. The mountain bike park opens each day at 10 am for non-pass holders, beginner and intermediate terrain riders.

Details, hours, rental program, pictures and videos, and season pass purchase information can be found here.
