The Adirondack Regional Airport has announced the return of Hertz Rent-A-Car to their list of services.
According to an announcement sent to the press, Hertz was encouraged to return after a year’s absence from the location as a result of the efforts of a coalition that includes the Harrietstown Town Board, regional tourism businesses and airport management.
Hertz Rent-A-Car will have an on-site staffed office with a small fleet of vehicles at the airport.
The Adirondack Regional Airport is owned and operated by the Town of Harrietstown. For more information about all available services, Cape Air Commercial airline schedules, information and booking links, click here.

This is great news. Multiple studies show how crucial airport access and transportation options are to the health of rural economies.
Just curious – is Hertz the only rental there?
