Farmers’ Market Returns To Saranac Lake

saranac lake farmers marketThe Saranac Lake Farmers’ Market has opened its 2017 season. The market, which takes place at Riverside Park in downtown Saranac Lake, operates on Saturdays from 9 am to 2 pm. The market is a rain or shine event and continues through mid-October.

Farmers and producers will bring vegetables, fruits, meats, eggs, cheeses, arts, wines, spirits, baked goods and more.

The market will also be expanding the number of local musicians who will be playing at the market thanks to a donation from the Adirondack Green Circle.

There is still space for vendors selling locally made products. The market also has community tent spaces for non-profits and community organizations. Contact the market volunteer organizers for more information at avgfarmersmarkets@gmail.com.

The Saranac Lake Farmers Market is part of the Ausable Valley Grange Farmers’ Markets, the only “producer-only” farmers’ markets in the eastern Adirondacks. At “producer-only” markets, the vendors can sell only items that they or their employees produce.
