The Annual Warren County Tree and Shrub Sale is now underway.
The sale has a variety of deciduous and evergreen seedlings, conservation and wildflower packs and locally made bird and bat houses, available for order until March 16th, 2018.
Purchases help improve and protect the natural resources of Warren County.
Incorporating woody vegetation into landscapes can be used as a defense against high winds, pollutants, stormwater runoff and soil erosion. When trees and shrubs are used to stabilize eroding soils, water quality is protected. Trees improve the air quality and increase wildlife habitat.
There is a limited supply of the American Chestnut (hybrid) for purchase. Call (518) 623-3119 before placing an order for American Chestnuts.
The last day to place an order is March 16th, 2018. Pick up will be held on April 27th from 8:30 am to 6 pm at 394 Schroon River Rd, Warrensburg.
For more information or to place an order, contact Dean Moore at dmoore123@nycap.rr.com or (518) 623-3119.
