1980 USA Hockey gold medalists to include Neal Broten, Dave Christian, Mike Eruzione, John Harrington, Steve Janaszak, Mark Johnson, Rob McClanahan, Ken Morrow, Mark Pavlich, Mike Ramsey, Buzz Schneider, Dave Silk, Eric Strobel and Mark Wells. Ralf Cox will also participate in the camp. Cox was the team’s final player cut before the Olympic tournament
Events will be held at the Lake Placid Olympic Center. This is where during the 1980 Olympic Winter Games, the U.S. hockey team beat the favored Soviet Union 4-3, in the game remembered as the “Miracle on Ice.” The team would eventually capture the Olympic tournament’s gold medal after topping Finland, just two days later, 4-2.
