Stained Glass Class at View, Old Forge

Views Warm Weather Stained Glass ClassA stained glass class has been set for Saturday, April 14th, from 10 am to 4 pm, at View in Old Forge.

Instructor Mary Pokrentowski will show participants how to make a warm weather-themed stained glass panel to hang in a window.

This includes learning how to trace the shape of a pattern on the glass, cutting the pattern out with a glass cutter, and finishing the shaping with a glass grinder. Participants will then place their pieces on a pattern and use the copper foil method to solder the pieces.

This is a day-long class. Participants are encouraged to bring lunch.

The cost for the workshop is $130 for guests and $120 View members. Pre-registration is required because class size is limited. Registration deadline is April 10, 2018. To register, visit View’s website, or call (315) 369-6411.

View is located at 3273 State Route 28 in Old Forge, New York.
