Inaugural Quadrathlon Planned For Indian Lake

AQA logoAn inaugural World Quadrathlon Federation sanctioned event has been set for Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 9 am at Bryon Park, Route 28, in Indian Lake. “Do the Q” will include swimming a half mile; kayaking four miles; cycling a 30K (18.2 miles) and running a 5k (3.1 miles).

Registration is limited to 50 participants and racers must compete in all events (no relay teams). The routes for each leg have not been set yet, but they will be in the Indian Lake region. Quadrathlons are increasing in popularity in Europe, but this will be the first in the U.S.

The event is presented by the Indian Lake Chamber of Commerce and America’s Quadrathlon Association.

The race entry fee is $100.
