A one-day Cryptocurrency Summit has been set for Tuesday, June 5th from 10:30 am to 3:30 pm at SUNY Plattsburgh’s Yocum Lecture Hall, 107 Broad Street.
Hosted by the Adirondack North Country Association (ANCA), this summit will address questions such as: What is cryptocurrency, how does it work, is it here to stay, how is it mined, and why does it matter to our communities? Are there public policy implications for our region or the State? How do ‘mining’ operations affect renewable power resources: regionally, nationally and globally? And What are the potential community benefits?
Cost is $25 and includes lunch and refreshments ($20 for ANCA members).
