Lake George Restaurant Week is ready for its summer finale with a range of restaurants offering three course meals for just $20.18 (tax and gratuity is not included). Lake George Restaurant Week is offered semi-annually in June and September and is a great bookend to the summer season. Chefs create their menus and find opportunities for everyone to enjoy the perfect Adirondack meal.
According to The Boathouse Restaurant general manager Dan Danahy, Lake George Restaurant Week is a great way for new customers and returning patrons to find out what they have on their menu. Some participating restaurants create a special value menu, but Danahy wants people walking in their door to know what can always be expected when dining at The Boathouse Restaurant.
“We are always excited to have the opportunity to have locals and visitors come to The Boathouse Restaurant,” says Danahy. “We are part of a luxury resort so sometimes people may not know that they can come here and enjoy the beautiful view and have a delicious meal. We offer everything from appetizers, burgers to a filet mignon. Restaurant Week is just one way to showcase all we have and at a reasonable price as well.”
Each participating restaurant may have exclusions, but those special exceptions are clearly marked on the menu. Make sure to ask the server about the Restaurant Week survey for the chance to win dining certificates. Lake George Restaurant Week runs from September 9-15, 2018.
“I want to keep our Restaurant Week menu in the same theme as the food that we serve. We also offer our regular menu so people can get an idea what we serve,” says Danahy. “We are a seasonal restaurant, open the second week of April to the second week of October. We are open for another six to eight weeks after Restaurant Week so people can come and experience us into the fall. We also do banquets and weddings. We have one of the most beautiful views on Lake George with a diverse daily menu. I hope people will give us a try.”
