‘Back to the Future’ at NorthWind Gallery, Saranac Lake

art by Heidi GuterslohNorthWind Fine Arts Gallery has announced “Back to the Future,” an exhibit by Heidi Gutersloh and David Woodward. The opening reception has been set for Friday, October 5, from 5 to 7 pm at 11 Woodruff Street, Saranac Lake.

The reception is free and open to the public, light refreshments will be served. The exhibit will be on display through October 29th.

“Back to the Future” is David Woodward’s and Heidi Gutersloh’s first collaboration. In her latest collection of work, Heidi Gutersloh takes us on a nostalgic journey with oil paintings of everyday items that were once “state of the art.” Painting in sepia-toned oils with slight hints of color, Gutersloh depicts products that were once considered new and exciting, that are now collected and enjoyed as antiques.

Blacksmith David Woodward will also unveil a new body of work at the opening.

NorthWind Fine Arts is a cooperative gallery featuring original art made by Adirondack artists. For more information, visit their website or call (518) 354-1875.
