The Ninth Annual Garlic Festival at the Warrensburgh Riverfront Farmers’ Market is planned for Friday, October 5 from 3 to 6 pm. There will be garlicky food contests, samplings, children’s activities and more.
Varieties of certified organic and naturally grown garlic will be available for purchase, for planting and consumption.
Horticulural information and recipes will be provided by the CCE of Warren County Master Gardener Station. There will be tastings with Amorici Vineyard & Winery and Glens Falls Distillery. Hope Valley Farm will be back demonstrating garlic tying and offering their signature pickled garlic scapes and garlic pesto. Market vendor and garlic farmer Daren Carroll will be sharing his unique varieties. Tom Brady will perform live music.
