Warren Miller’s 69th Winter Sports Film In Indian Lake

Face of WinterThe winter sports action film Face of Winter is set to play at the Indian Lake Theater on November 17 at 7 pm. Snow sports enthusiasts and adventure goers of all ages are invited to kick off the season with Warren Miller’s 69th installment ski and snowboard film.

Warren Miller’s films captured the magic of skiing and Face of Winter brings top athletes together to pay tribute.

The film includes destinations such as Engleberg, Chamonix, British Columbia, Alaska, Chile, Iceland, New Zealand, Washington and more. World-class athletes like Jessie Diggins, Anna Segal, Dash Longe, Forrest Jillson, Amie Engerbretson, Seth Wescott, Jim Ryan and others are captured carving down the faces of remote mountain ranges.

Tickets cost $25 and are on sale online and at the Indian Lake Theater, and will also be available at the door the night of the show. All proceeds benefit the theater, the nonprofit community screen and stage for the Central Adirondacks. The theater’s address is 13 W. Main Street, Indian Lake.

Area ski centers will be on hand giving away lift ticket deals to all movie goers at Oak Mountain and Sugarbush. Beer, wine, and hard cider will be available for those over 21. The concession stand will sell popcorn, candy, soda, and water.
