Para-Bobsleigh World Championships Coming Lake Placid

ibsf logoThe Para-Bobsleigh World Championships are set to take place at Mt. Van Hoevenberg’s combined bobsled/luge/skeleton track on March 30-31, 2019.

This will mark the first time that this event is being held in the United States.

Athletes from Australia, Austria, Canada, Germany, Great Britain, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United States are expected to compete.

Daily admission is $9 for teens and adults and $7 for juniors and seniors. Admission is free to children six and under.

Training times are Tuesday, March 26 and Friday, March 29 from 10 am to 1 pm.

Racing times are Saturday, March 30, 10 am to 1 pm, Heats 1 & 2; and Sunday, March 31, 10 am to 1 pm, Heats 3 & 4.

Mt. Van Hoevenberg Olympic Sports Complex Track is located at 220 Bobsled Lane, Route 73, Lake Placid.
