The Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts is set to open on Wednesday, May 1st for its 52nd season. To launch this year’s exhibitions, the Arts Center solicited works of art from its talented members.
The Members’ Show will be displayed from May 1 – 31, with a reception open to the public on Friday, May 10 from 5 to 6:30 pm.
Following the artist reception on May 10, the Arts Center will be presenting a World Music Concert at 7:30 pm featuring, Sitar/Tabla Master Ustad Shafaat Khan. Tickets are available at the door and online.
This year’s Members Show features work from the following artists: Pam Belleville, Andy Coney, Terry De Armas, Tracie Doerner, Deborah Dorsey, Catherine Feck, Jacqueline Hornstein, Barbara Keough, Robert Keough, Larry Master, Chris Mays, Sally Neenan, Ron Nolland, Frank Pine, Al Pouch, Joann Quinlivan, Mary Vianese, Sylvia Vidal, and Lesley R. Vidich.
In conjunction with the Members’ Show, the Arts Center will be showcasing artwork that students from throughout the Adirondacks submitted. This year’s Student Show features work from the following artists: Margot Hall, Oona Hall, Keira Tracy-Deuss, Marley Tracy-Deuss, and Orrin Tracy-Deuss. The Student Show will be displayed from May 1 – 31, with a reception open to the public on Saturday, May 11 from 3 to 4 pm. This is the Arts Center’s first Annual Student Art Show.
The Arts Center’s will be open for the season on May 1st. It’s spring hours are Tuesdays – Saturdays from 10 am to 4 pm. Please stop in to view our galleries and to visit our gift shop.
