Adk History Museum Annual Car Show June 8th

adk history museum car showCar collectors and enthusiasts from far and wide will be on hand displaying beautifully restored and maintained muscle cars, vintage roadsters, hot rods and more at the Adirondack History Museum’s 8th Annual Antique and Classic Car Show, on Saturday, June 8th from 11 am to 2 pm.

Admission is free, vintage cars will be exhibited on the museum grounds on Hand Avenue in Elizabethtown.

The day features a gas card raffle. Tickers will be available both before and during the event. The drawing takes place at 2 pm. Pre-registration for vehicle owners is currently underway. The exhibit fee registration is $10. Car owners can register by contacting the Adirondack History Museum at echs@adkhistorycenter.org or (518) 873-6466.

The event is co-sponsored with Egglefield Ford. The Elizabethtown Fire Company will be on site grilling up hot dogs and hamburgers.

The day also features free admission to the museum. This year, the museum reflects on the centennial of Prohibition, with its seasonal exhibits Bootleggers & the Law in Adirondacks and Adirondack Suffragists: The Temperance Movement. The Rosenberg Gallery show will host One Earth ~ Two Perspectives: Photography and Drawings of Manuel Palacios and Dan Keegan.
