Long Lake Van Morrison Tribute Concert June 1st

MoondanceThe Town of Long Lake Parks and Recreation Department is set to host the Massachusetts Band, Moondance, The Ultimate Van Morrison Tribute on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 7:30 pm at the 125-seat Long Lake Town Hall, one of the oldest buildings in the community.

Moondance captures the Van Morrison concert experience with a five-piece band that hails from Massachusetts and can regularly be seen performing venues in and around the Springfield, MA region.

Musicians include: Ed Moran on Lead Vocals, Dan Broad playing bass and vocals, Dana Welts on guitar, Vinnie Brandi on drums, Aaron Dean on Sax and Joe Torra on Keyboards Morrison, portrayed by Ed Moran in the show, will be backed by a five-piece band, including drums, bass, guitar, keyboards and sax. Moran is a big fan of Van Morrison and strives to capture his unique vocal inflections and to nail down his physical motions to best capture the essence of Van Morrison on stage.

Van Morrison has been making records since the mid-1960s starting with the band Them. He started his solo career in 1967 and can boast a rock n roll legacy over 50 years old.

This is a general admission event. Tickets for the event are available online. Pre-sale adult tickets are $15, kids are $10. Tickets can be in person at the Long Lake Town Offices, Monday through Friday, 9 am to 4 pm. Cash or Check payable to Town of Long Lake, PO Box 496, Long Lake, NY 12847.
