Adirondack Research Consortium will host an Adirondack Social Science Research Workshop, set for Friday, October 4th, from 10 am to 3 pm, at the Joan Weill Student Center, Pine Room, at Paul Smith’s College.
The purpose of the workshop is to continue the dialogue on past and current social science research in the region, to identify gaps that warrant future inquiry, and to begin coordinating social science research to better address social issues within the Adirondacks.
Featured Keynote speaker will be Dr. Bill Weber, of Yale University.
There will be panel presentations by: Stanzi Bliss, Adirondack Foundation; Dr. Donathan Brown, Rochester Institute of Technology; Sylvia Getman, CEO, Adirondack Health; and Dr. Richard C. Stedman, Cornell University.
