Featured Hike: Wildway Overlook Trail, Whallonsburg

wildway overlook trail mapWildway Overlook trail, part of the Champlain Area Trails (CATS), is a relatively easy, family and dog-friendly hike that begins in Whallonsburg. The hike is 1.5 miles round trip, includes interpretive signs along the trail, and ends in at a rocky outcrop that overlooks the Split Rock Wildway Wildlife Corridor and the Lake Champlain Valley.

Always remember to practice Leave No Trace by staying on the trails, carrying out what you carry in, and keeping your dog leashed or under close command to show courtesy to other hikers. Trailhead Parking Area: Located on Brookfield Rd, ¼ mi south of Reynolds Rd in Whallonsburg, NY.
