    I made a comment on “Matter cannot be created or destroyed”in New York Forests and climate. I went on to comment on how photosynthesis in plants work by taking in carbon dioxide and giving off oxygen during daylight hours. Carbon is sequestered in the plant until night time when the process reverses itself it further reverses when the plant dies and rots giving off the carbon dioxide. The end result is “matter is not created or destroyed” also known as “the energy cycle”.
