Barkeater Trails Alliance (BETA) is set to hold their Annual Meeting and Ski Movie Screening and Fundraiser on Saturday, December 21st, at the Lake Placid Center for the Arts.
At the annual meeting BETA members will vote to elect two new representatives to the Board of Directors of the organization, Connie Prickett and Thea Moruzzi.
The meeting will feature a slide show presentation focused on BETA’s trail program, followed by new board member elections and a member Q&A session. Light food and beer is provided in the lobby prior to the start of the meeting. The annual meeting is free but only open to current BETA members. Doors open at 5 pm, the meeting will take place from 5:30 to 6:45 pm.
Immediately following the annual meeting BETA will host their annual ski movie screening and fundraiser, in the same location at the LPCA, from 7:15 to 9 pm. This year will feature the new Teton Gravity Research film – Winterland. The ski movie is free for current BETA members. Join at the door to enter, otherwise tickets are $10, free for children 12 and under.
