Long Lake Hors D’Oeuvres Tour Returning

Group enjoying the Hors DOeuvres Tour at the Adirondack Hotel in 2019Long Lake area restaurants are set to open up their doors for the Long Lake Hors D’Oeuvres Tour on Friday, February 21st, from 6 to 10 pm.

Venues for 2020 include the Adirondack Hotel, Long Lake Diner & Owl’s Head Pub and the Long View Lodge.

Tickets are $35 for individuals or a $65 for two. Guests will dine on three appetizers from each restaurant and vote for the best. The Long Lake Little Bus will provide free door to door transportation. Guests will be responsible for tips, and drinks are sold separately. Guests traveling from out of town are welcome to participate in the Little Bus park and ride service from their lodging location or from the municipal lot located at 1167 Main Street in Long Lake.

The order of stops will be selected at random the day of the event. Guests use a voting card to review their items and assign a score. Each venue has a half hour to serve before the guests move on to the next location. Guests participating in the event travel as a group with event liaisons helping guide the guests on the tour.

Voting on a points system, visitors consider presentation, quality, taste, texture and originality. In addition to the selection of winners overall, each restaurant will be awarded for their best appetizer.

Tickets are available online. On-line sales and over the counter sales will close on Wednesday, February 19th at noon to ensure that participating restaurants have an accurate headcount for the event.

All the restaurants will be open for regular dining service in addition to the Hors D’Oeuvres Tour.
