View’s 14th Annual Chili Bowl Event Set

View Chili BowlsView’s 14th Annual Chili Bowl Luncheon has been set for Saturday, February 15th from noon to 3 pm, featuring over a dozen chilis and soups made by local restaurants, with a variety of desserts made by View’s volunteers.

Attendees will be able to choose from a variety of handcrafted, ceramic bowls created by local and regional potters in View’s Ceramics Studio. Handcrafted ceramic bowls range in price from $18 to $25. Chili can be purchased without a ceramic bowl at $10 adults and $5 for children.

Chili and soup will be donated by Brian Bamberger, A Moveable Feast, Big Moose Inn Hotel and Restaurant, Daiker’s, DiOrio’s Supermarket, Dough a Deer Bakery, Front Door Diner, Misters Bistro, North Country Market, Ozzie’s Coffee Bar, Randy’s Restaurant, Red Dog Tavern, Seventh Lake House, Slickers Adirondack Tavern, Steak House, Stillwater Hotel, Tony Harper’s Pizza & Clam Shack, The Woods Inn, Walt’s Diner, and View will be serving Mac & Cheese.

Non-perishable foods will be collected by View at the door to support the local community. All food collected will be donated to the food pantries in Old Forge and Inlet to help fill bellies and hearts.

The Inlet Community Church will have a table set up to talk about their past and future spring trips to Juarez, Mexico to help build an orphanage. They will be selling coupon books and Mexican Vanilla, and will give information on how to help their cause.

This event will be held in Gould Hall. View is located at 3273 State Route 28 in Old Forge. More information is available on their website, or by calling (315) 369-6411.
