LGLC Selected As Reusable Bag Program Beneficiary

Hannaford Reusable Community BagThe Lake George Land Conservancy (LGLC) has been selected as a beneficiary of the Hannaford Helps Reusable Bag Program for the month of March.

The Hannaford Helps Reusable Bag Program, which launched in April 2014, is a reusable bag program that facilitates community support for local initiatives.

The LGLC was selected as the March beneficiary of the program by store leadership at the Hannaford located at 190 Quaker Rd, Queensbury. The LGLC will receive a $1 donation every time the $2.50 reusable Community Bag is purchased at this location during March.

The LGLC is a nonprofit land trust headquartered in Bolton Landing, with the mission to protect the land that protects Lake George. Since 1988 it has protected over 11,500 acres of land and 6.7 miles of shoreline that provide water quality protection, as well as broad benefits for wildlife, recreation, and scenic beauty.
