The Economic Development Team for Franklin County has been working to understand the impact that the COVID-19 public health crisis has had on our business community. They also seek to bring together local businesses, helping them to find the technical and financial resources to persevere during these times. According to a press release from Franklin County Economic Development, small businesses owners should do the following three things:
Complete their 5-minute Business Impact Survey, the link to which can be found here. This will help them understand the extent to which small business is impacted.
Complete an SBA Disaster Loan Application. Disaster loan funding is available through the U.S. Small Business Administration. If your business has been adversely affected by this current crisis, it is recommended that you complete an application as soon as possible. More information on an SBA Disaster loan can be found here.
Ask for help. The financial and technical resources to get through this are available to you, and it is likely additional resources will be available during this time.
