ADK Offers Free Memberships to Frontline Workers

johns brook lodgeADK is offering free one-year memberships to frontline, essential workers in recognition of the risks that they have taken to save lives and keep essential services available to the general public. Based on the definition provided by New York State, the following industries qualify as essential work:

*   Grocery stores
*   Public transportation
*   Healthcare
*   Emergency services

Membership benefits include a digital subscription to Adirondac magazine and discounts on outdoor skills workshops, wilderness Adirondack lodging and camping, and parking at the Heart Lake Program Center, which hosts numerous trailheads that lead into the High Peaks Wilderness.     What about warehouse workers. Produce milk, drinks for nursing homes, etc.. we are always forgotten. We worked throughout this.

    Trying to contact the membership dept. My name is Adam Smith and I would lile to get the free membership for frontline workers. I started in Stillwater Reservoir as an Assistant Forest Ranger (best job I ever had to date), I currently am a NYS EMT and Lt with Norfolk Fire Department. Thank you for the generous offer.
