The Adirondack Almanack
The Adirondack Almanack is a public forum dedicated to promoting and discussing current events, history, arts, nature and outdoor recreation and other topics of interest to the Adirondacks and its communities
We publish commentary and opinion pieces from voluntary contributors, as well as news updates and event notices from area organizations. Contributors include veteran local writers, historians, naturalists, and outdoor enthusiasts from around the Adirondack region. The information, views and opinions expressed by these various authors are not necessarily those of the Adirondack Almanack or its publisher, the Adirondack Explorer.

You should cover and ideally do a whole story on the fallout from the white Cohoes police officer who shot at black kids in Elizabethtown and lied about it to state police. Yesterday activists delivered a petition with over 730 signatures from all over the ADK and beyond to the Essex County DA asking for an investigation into this incident:

The DA has been extremely reluctant to comment on what is clearly a weird incident. This is big news!
Saw that this was added – many thanks!
Yeah, funny timing ha ha. I was updating it right when you posted!
Ah I’m glad you had already seen it! I appreciate the consideration very much. Have a great weekend: weather looks decent, particularly on Sunday.
