Mobile bookstore makes rounds through Adirondacks

The Adirondack Center for Writing teamed up with area bookstores to create a traveling bookstore.

Built by Paul Smith’s College students, the ACW Bookmobile is making its way around the Adirondacks, with stops coming up this week at the following ice cream stands.

All visitors are required to wear masks, no exceptions. Payment options: cash, check, Venmo. ACW partnered with local bookstores including The Book NookBookstore Plus, and TREES Adirondack Gifts & Books to feature a selection of new staff picks and used books are on board for readers of all ages.

Too bad that the bookmobile from the Plattsburgh Public Library wasn’t funded…no need to purchase books when they’ve got books to this economic climate, might be a better match money-wise for most folks.
