Survivalist Wife or “How Much Am I Worth?

So this is me in Survivalist Mode,

I’m “Everywoman” in my abode,

From dawn ’till dusk just like a machine,

Keeping family safe while in quarantine.

Thank God I’m a nurse, it helps so much,

When managing meds, flu vaccines and such.

I manage home and Infection Control,

Keeping my family well and whole

Keeps me busy, keeps me sane,

Keeps me going in spite of pain,

Also in charge of evacuation plan,

“Go-Bag” packed in case we ‘scram’,

Keeping self focused and feeling worthwhile,

What are my duties?..You’ll have to smile:

Home CEO: Director of Health & Well-Being in Quarantine

Medical Director: assessment treatment, prevention, care

Infection Control Manager/Disinfector/Quarantine Manager

Problem Solver

Healthcare Finder

Jigsaw Puzzle Helper

Comprehensive Online Ordering Manager (everything! including groceries)

Inventory Manager

Online Researcher for all purposes/needs

Cook

Cleaning Person

Laundry Person

Flu Vaccine Administrator

Barber/Hair Stylist

Dog Groomer/Medication Administrator

Chemist/Inventor: soap/toiletry/household sanitizing product-maker

Plant Germinator/Herbalist

Masseuse

Husband’s Book Editor

Resident Poet…et all
