Each year, View Arts Center in Old Forge holds the Quilts Unlimited exhibition, which is open to all artists working in the fiber based quilting medium.
The opening reception is from 4-6:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 2.
Due to COVID-19 safety guidelines, this event will be different from previous receptions. To participate you must pre-register for a time by clicking this link.
Following NY State guidelines, View will limit the number of guests in the gallery at a time. Face masks and social distancing is mandatory to enter View.
You will have 30 minutes to view the galleries, starting from your sign up time.
The Exhibit runs through November 7.
a Zoom Lecture by Quilter Pat Harrison will take place Saturday, October 3 from 11 am – 12:30 pm
Event description: “A 45-minute PowerPoint lecture that explains the quilt design process that I use as I decide what quilting best enhances each of my award- winning quilts and how I go about transferring the design to the quilt top. Thread type and color, batting choices, and additional considerations are also addressed. A ‘100 Pounds of Award-Winning Quilts’ trunk show follows as does a period of questions and answers. Handout included.”
