Coronavirus dominated the headlines (and pretty much all our attention) in May. In fact, since the pandemic began, we’ve posted 171 stories to date tagged “coronavirus.” Here are the top five posts from May (ranked by number of comments made) and three of the five are related to the pandemic:

  1. WE’RE IN THIS TOGETHER: A reminder from contributor Diane Chase that covid-19 impacts us all.
  2. TOURISM DURING COVID: Readers weigh in on whether the Adirondacks should discourage visitation during the pandemic.
  3. FIGHTING TICKS: Longtime reader and first-time contributor Worth Gretter presents tips for keeping ticks at bay. (Was also one of the top 10 stories of the year!)
  4. ROUTE 28 MEMORIES: Great Camp Sagamore historian Robert Engel looks back on family roadtrips.
  5. MEMORIAL DAY: A public service message about staying safe over the holiday weekend.
