Are you a climber looking for a challenge to get you ready for the spring climbing season? Are you a hiker trying to avoid the trails during shoulder season? Or are you just looking for something fun and safe to do during a global pandemic?
Check out Rock the 46! An awareness and community outreach event hosted by ROCKSPORT in Queensbury, NY from April 10-May 2 to raise money for the Adirondack Climber’s Coalition.
Enter the challenge to top out on each of the 46 ropes at ROCKSPORT, $25/adult; $20/youth (Regular gym fees apply) and all participants receive a specially designed t-shirt. The Finale weekend is May 1st and 2nd with raffles, prizes, food, beverages, music, training tips, presentations from local climbing and hiking rock stars. There will be a variety of route difficulties for each rope. This will allow climbers of all ability levels to find the right level of challenge for them.

This is my old gym!! I’m not sure if it was Rocksport in specific when I went there in college. Super glad to see that they are OK after over a year of pandemic – gyms have suffered a lot. If the layout is still the same, can thoroughly recommend 🙂
