“An Evening With Greg Klein” exhibit to open Sept. 2 at the Old Forge Library
Klein is an award winning and highly collected artist whose evocative works have a classic feel. Nature and art have always been a prominent component of Klein’s life. He studied wildlife biology and art at the University of Nebraska, and spent ten years in Colorado, exploring and painting the vast landscape of the Rocky Mountains.
Attracted to the breathtaking beauty of Upstate NY, he decided to settle in the Adirondacks. Klein enjoys painting on site, outdoors (en plein air) and in his Old Forge studio.
As part of the town-wide First Friday Art Walk, the exhibit’s opening reception will be held from to 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, September 2. The reception is free and open to all. Light refreshments will be served, with live music provided by Midnite Mike.
