SARANAC LAKE — The September ArtMarket & Studio Tours will take place this Saturday and Sunday, September 24 and 25 in Saranac Lake and surrounding areas.

Organized and hosted by Saranac Lake ArtWorks and the Saranac Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, the September ArtMarket & Studio Tours will include an art market at Riverfront Park near the state boat launch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, and studio tours around the area on Sunday, Sept. 25.

ArtMarket artists will include Maria DeAngelo, Mark Paul, Betty Hendrick, Patric Hendrick, Deborah Geurtze, Yvona Fast, Caper Tissot, George Bryjak, Martha Watts, Marie Cogar, Sarah Humphreys and Bluseed Studios.

Studio tours will include Diane Leifheit, David Woodward, Peter Shrope, Anne Hughes, Marie Cogar, Ann Haskell, Stephen Horne, Nancy Brossard, Deborah Geurtze and Jacqueline Altman. Small Fortune Studio, Adirondack Artists Guild and NorthWind Fine Arts Gallery will also be open throughout the weekend. Shawn Halperin, a North Country jeweler who crafts with Adirondack birch, sterling silver and other combined materials, will be at the ArtWorks booth at the Farmers’ Market from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Riverside Park on Saturday, Sept. 24, during the ArtMarket.

Art at the Pink House will also host a closing sale on Friday, Sept. 23 and Saturday, Sept. 24 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. at 25 Woodruff Street, Saranac Lake. The sale will include fiber art, watercolors, mixed media collage, drawings, botanical contact prints, art books and work by other artists.
