As a little girl
I always wanted a house
With a turret room
A kitchen pantry
Dog curled beside the wood stove
A mudroom for boots
Tree house and sandbox
A picnic spot by the pond
Paradise for kids
A plot of good land
And a path to the forest
Peace amid the trees
