View, the arts center in Old Forge, is currently accepting artwork for two upcoming juried exhibitions: The 42nd Annual Adirondacks National Exhibition of American Watercolors (ANEAW) and Ripple & Roar: The Wonder of Water. ANEAW is a long-running summer tradition that attracts some of the best watercolor artists in the country. The exhibition runs from August 5 through October 1 and is open to all artists working in water-based media, including transparent and opaque watercolors, casein, egg tempera, gouache, acrylic, and ink. All submissions must be made through CaFÉ HERE. The submission deadline is April 20.

Ripple & Roar is open to all media and seeks works exploring the theme of water. The essential resource of life, we are seeking works that celebrate the ethereal beauty of water, explore its inspirational qualities, reflect its many changing moods, and underscore our critical relationship with it. Works of art might consider water from a global point of view, a regional perspective, a cultural perspective, or with a specific focus on the Adirondacks. All submissions must be made through CaFÉ HERE. The submission deadline is May 1.

View Center for Arts and Culture is located at 3273 State Route 28 in Old Forge.
