Adirondack Film is proud to announce that festival passes are now on sale for the expanded 22nd Annual Lake Placid Film Festival (Oct. 26-29). Passes can be purchased here: https://www.adirondackfilm.org/lake-placid-festival/tickets-and-passes. In addition to the educational and film screenings that have been core tenets of the festival, this year’s edition will also include:

Episodic Television with Catalyst Story Institute
At the Festival, we bring you a fresh experience as we unite the world of episodic storytelling to the world of feature film. You can enjoy “An Independent Showcase of TV Programming” or whet your appetite with pilot TV shows as they are launched.
Classic Film Anniversaries

Relive moments of cinematic history with a curated selection of repertory (or throwback or seminal) screenings, including milestone showcases for E.T. The Extra Terrestrial, The Exorcist, and Cool Runnings.

Made Upstate
Celebrate the artistic diversity of the Adirondacks and Upstate New York with film screenings from acclaimed regional filmmakers. Or sit in on one of our panels and learn about the latest filmmaking techniques and the future of film in Upstate New York.
There are also several new options for passes this year, including a discounted pass for all high school and college students.
This year’s passes include:

All Access Pass

  • Entry to all film screenings (subject to capacity – arrive 10 minutes early)
  • Entry to all panels  (subject to capacity – arrive 10 minutes early)
  • Entry into select events & mixers, including Your Shorts Are Showing Awards, Saturday Night Party, Trivia Night and more to be announced (subject to capacity, excludes Gala).

Producer Pass

  • All the benefits of a All Access Pass, plus:
    • Gala Dinner

Annual Pass

  • All the benefits of the Producer pass, plus:
    • See Something That Means Something 2024 Pass
    • Aditional screenings throughout the year
    • Chairman’s Reception

Student Festival Pass

  • All the benefits of the Festival Pass but for students

Friday or Saturday Pass

  • All the benefits of the Festival Pass for Friday or Saturday only

Sunday Pass

  • All the benefits of the Festival Pass for Sunday only
