Great story Dick, never got to play Little League where I lived but we had Little League here in Inlet and I took the kids to the Hall of Fame games at the end of the season which I’m sure they all remember. A couple homers were hit in those games right in our laps which I’m sure made the day for those kids. Thanks, Gary

    • Thank you, Gary. I’m sure those kids enjoyed that. I never had a ball come my way in the stands at a game, though I had a good many of my own pitches leave the park faster than I threw them in there. Somewhere out there there’s an alternate universe where I’m on the mound, pitching major league baseballs. Hopefully it’s a universe where the strike zones are huge. Thanks for reading my story & looking after our loons.

Not on subject, but currently I’m looking at the bull rush Bay lean to.
        Nice repair job Dick!

        • Thank you, Mark. I’m very pleased (and relieved) that folks such as you, who appreciate that lean-to, approve. What a nice day to be at our favorite lean-to! Enjoy your day there. I’ll be back in there sometime later this fall.
