Old Forge, NY — Get into the Halloween spirit at View Arts Center this year with 5 nights of frights from October 24 – 28, as part of their 3rd Annual Halloweek Spooktacular, ending again with their free Monster Mash Halloween Party.

On Wednesday, October 25, a Halloween Cocktail Class is being offered by View, where participants will be learning, making, and tasting three themed drinks. The class is $25 per person and includes everything you need to make the cocktails. The class is open to guests aged 21+ only. Space will be limited. Register online at the link: ViewArts.org/Halloween.

The building will once again be transformed with help from Halloween-enthusiast Patty Salsbury, and View will be opening their doors for a free community Open House on Thursday, October 26, from 2 to 4 p.m. Anyone can come in, with no charge, and see the decorations, including dozens of animatronics, and even check out the Quilts Unlimited Exhibitions currently on display in the galleries.

The annual CAA Pumpkin Carving will be taking place on Friday, October 27, from 3 to 6 p.m. Everyone is invited to stop in and carve a free pumpkin at this community-favorite event. Stop in on your way to Inlet’s Trunk or Treat and Costume Parade, or simply focus on your designs and enjoy pizza and cider provided by the Central Adirondack Association.

The week wraps up on Saturday, October 28 from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m., with the fasted growing Halloween Party in the Adirondacks. In its 4th year and Universal Monster-themed, this free annual party is becoming a fan-favorite event at View. The Monster Mash Halloween Party will feature a cash bar, with some Halloween-themed specialty cocktails, light appetizers, music, and, of course, a costume contest, with cash prizes awarded to the three best costumes. Due to the alcohol at the event, the party is for ages 21 and over.

The Monster Mash is part of the Hallowed Forge Pumpkin Party and is being co-sponsored by the Central Adirondack Association.
