“The One-Act Play That Goes Wrong” takes you on a journey with the Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society, a local theater group attempting to put on a 1920s murder mystery. As the title suggests, chaos ensues as everything that can go wrong does. From falling set pieces to missed lines and disappearing props, the play is a riotous adventure from start to finish. This side-splitting comedy is currently a hit on Broadway, and now you can experience it right here in the Adirondacks at North Country School.
Our Performing Arts Director, Courtney Allen commented on the production, saying, “This is a challenging play for any level of performers. We are fortunate to have all the resources to do this play well, and our students have been enjoying the challenge it presents to master timing from a set design and comedic performance standpoint. This production is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our students and staff and it’s going to be a fun evening we hope our local community members will come out to enjoy!”
