Peckham Industries grateful for assistance following accident in Keene

Keene, NY – In light of a recent accident that occurred last month on Route 73 in Keene, NY involving one of our trucks, Peckham Industries would like to sincerely thank the local volunteers and Essex County Haz Mat team, Essex County Sheriff’s Department, NYS Troopers, DEC, and DOT, Keene Valley Fire Department, Keene Fire Department, Keene EMS, and Elizabethtown Lewis EMS. The dedication and hard work of the local volunteers and response teams to ensure the safety of the travelling public, community, and environment on the day of the accident and the days following, is appreciated and deserves to be recognized.

At Peckham Industries, safety is our number one core value and is engrained throughout our company’s culture- we protect our family and friends. A special thank you to Corey Howe for protecting our Peckham member. Corey is a local UPS driver who was the first to arrive at the scene of the accident. Thanks to his quick actions, our driver was kept safe and saved from potentially being seriously injured. Thank you to all who were involved with the response and clean up efforts to this accident.
