This repetitious list of weekly news/interesting reads only lends credence to my suspicion that some topics are being kept off limits for reporting.

With COP 28 underway in Dubai, how is it not newsworthy enough to include on the plethora of reports out there on dire predictions about climate change which are fraught with controversy? We all need to know about the alleged secret oil exploration agreements, and about oil industry “greenwashing of the whole event, and about the hypocritical monetary promises unkept by rich countries to needy third world countries who cause the least of the climate problems.

How is our new Adirondack “Third Act” reacting to this news Chloe? Are we making headway or not? This is news we need to know about!

How about the Wild Center leadership on educating young people about climate change Jen Kretser? What is your response? We all need your leadership!
Come on Explorer/Almanack, THIS IS NEWS! Let’s get it out there!

Perhaps just large amount of news and limited number of reporters?

Relax already. I believe the intent is for local issues of ADK interest. While your concerns may indeed be newsworthy, I can read plenty of that on national and environmental media.
