Johnsburg, NY – The Town of Johnsburg invites all interested members of the public to attend a workshop at the North Creek Fire House on Thursday, May 9 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. This update to the Town’s 2004 Comprehensive Plan will be used to guide and shape the future of the Town. Public input is vital to the development of this plan and all interested community members are encouraged to be an active part of the process.

This is the third public workshop held so far in the planning process. The goal of this workshop is to receive public feedback on the draft goals for the plan which have been developed through input received from the community survey and the previously held public workshop.

Please visit the project website to view the draft goals in advance of the workshop. The plan is funded by a $90,000 grant to the Town from the New York State Department of State Smart Growth Comprehensive Planning Grant Program. The Lake Champlain Lake George Regional Planning Board is leading this planning effort with technical support from AKRF and guidance from the Comprehensive Advisory Committee comprised of community members and representatives.

The North Creek Fire House is located at 134 Main Street, North Creek, NY 12853.
