Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts to kick off summer concert series tonight

Blue Mountain Lake, NY— The Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts (ALCA) announces a brand-new lineup of concerts this summer for their popular Tuesdays@theAC series. On select Tuesday nights during the summer, the Arts Center will present music by a variety of local performers, including Paul Meyers, the Yod Squad, Ryan Leddick, Brock Gonyea, the McCarty Zito Duo, and the Schanzer/Speach Duo, all in a relaxed, fun atmosphere.

Admission is a suggested donation of $15, and all concerts begin at 7:30 p.m. at the Arts Center, 3446 State Route 28, Blue Mountain Lake. Beer, wine, and other refreshments will be available.
A performance by jazz guitarist Paul Meyers kicks off the 2024 Tuesdays@theAC series on June 18 with a program of Great American Songbook selections and Brazilian standards. The following Tuesday, June 25, Arts Center favorites the Yod Squad, led by Long Laker Yod Crewsy, will take the stage for a variety of classic favorites.
On July 2, Indian Lake native and central New York resident Ryan Leddick returns to the Arts Center with his original singer-songwriter tunes. The following Tuesday, July 9, Tupper Lake country phenom Brock Gonyea explores traditional and new Nashville sounds.

In August, classical-music fans will enjoy the McCarty Zito Duo as they present four centuries of viola, guitar, and lute music on August 6. The series concludes on August 27 with collaborative improvisations on piano and classical/electric guitar by the Schanzer/Speach Duo.
