Megan Murphy has been appointed as the director of the Adirondack Birth to Three Alliance (BT3), a project of Adirondack Foundation.
BT3’s mission is to support and help expand early childhood services in the North Country region of Clinton, Essex, and Franklin counties, as well as the St. Regis Mohawk Reservation.
Murphy has a background in program development and delivery, building regional collaboratives, community assessment, and strategic planning. She comes to Adirondack Foundation from Adirondack Health Institute (AHI), where she oversaw programs to improve health and quality of life in our communities. » Continue Reading.

Across the Adirondack region, individuals, businesses, organizations, and communities have continuously demonstrated their Spirit of Generosity by investing in one of our most pressing needs: early childhood education. But there’s still much to be done.
Finding affordable child care is a challenge for nearly everyone, but especially so for single-parent households and working families with mid to low-wage jobs. Adirondack Foundation, through its Birth to Three Alliance, has heard countless stories of parents who struggle to balance work with raising their children — and in many cases, the two things are inseparable.
