Lindsay Yost to Lead BT3 at Adirondack Foundation

Adirondack Foundation has announced Lindsay Yost has been added to its staff as Program Director. Yost brings to the position a combination of skills and professional experiences, from classroom teaching to experiential education and leadership, along with a deep commitment to the Adirondack Region.

Adirondack Birth to Three Alliance Pilots New Parent Kit

The New Parent Kit includes two books — Starting Life Together (New Parent Guide) and What to Do When Your Child Gets Sick — as well as a Driver’s Manual for New Dads, and a bookmark.

Starting Life Together (New Parent Guide) is a user-friendly guide for parents of new babies. It steps parents through the stages of development steering them along the path to building a nurturing, healthy relationship with their child. BT3 Alliance To Host Annual Meeting June 20th

The Adirondack Birth to Three Alliance’s (BT3) annual meeting will bring together educators, providers, government, nonprofits, and businesses to network, quickly review progress to date, and consider strategies to support services for families with young children across the region.

The annual meeting’s theme is Early Childhood Systems Building and will take Tuesday, June 20, at the Crowne Plaza in Lake Placid. The day will begin at 9:30 am with networking and a light breakfast; the meeting will conclude with lunch at 12:30 pm. » Continue Reading.
