A Spooky Good Time: Inlet’s Halloween Costume Contest Results

The Inlet Youth Commission held their annual Halloween Parade & Party on Friday, October 27, following another very successful Trunk-or-Treat at the Inlet Community Church. Many costumed children paraded through town behind an Inlet fire engine, before heading over to the Inlet Volunteer Emergency Services building for costume judging and treats.

This year’s M.C. Greg Rudd announced the winners, which were selected by the 2023 judges: Brittany Bartolotti, Toni Rudd, and Gina Greco.

Town of Inlet seeks donations for Arrowhead Park playground project

The Town of Inlet Parks Department is excited to have in the works – the Arrowhead Park Playground Project. There is something wonderful about walking into a local park and seeing young children running around a jungle gym, swinging on a swing, or going down a slide. [Children have the opportunity to] exercise, make friends, laugh, and run as their parents and neighbors catch-up over a cup of coffee.

Inlet’s First Shop with a Cop Event Fosters Positive Relationships Between Police and Community

What started out as reminiscing over coffee and planning for the future, quickly became a reality for Inlet Sergeant Toby Lindfield, thanks to the Inlet Youth Commission and the Fulton Chain Trifecta.  During his previous time with the Oneida County Sheriff’s Department, Sergeant Lindfield participated in a “Shop with a Cop” program.  His goal was to begin fundraising now in order to bring this type of program to Inlet in December of 2023.  Mike Bartolotti of the Fulton Chain Trifecta and Adele Murdock Burnett of the Inlet Youth Commission quickly decided that Sergeant Lindfield didn’t need to wait until 2023 – he could make this a reality this year. And that he did.
